More fun with Lily at Gulliver’s

After a fun afternoon with my friend Lily at Battersea Zoo, we got to go to Gulliver’s Land in Milton Keynes, and that was fantastic! Riding horses was the best!:

Vive le Carnaval!

The World famous Notting Hill Carnival was held this WE in London and we had to check it out. I mean literally, we were forced into checking it out. Our appartment was located near the Carnival route, in middle of the very loud music. Thousands of people must have passed by our windows in a couple of days.

Our party guy Zaydo loved it and he got to check it out with his friend Lily. The California girls, Peter and Mak were there too. Check out the pictures:

Zayd’s Pre-Birthday Party/ Abu Zayd’s Leaving Do

Yesterday, we had an absolutely fantastic time with our friends in London. They came to say ‘good bye’ to Abu Zayd who is about to set off to Dubai and prepare for our newest adventure, but also to join in an early celebration for Zayd’s third birthday.

We really enjoyed our time with you guys and thank you very much for coming, for Zayd presents and the lovely food/drinks. We will greatly miss you while in Dubai and hope that you can visit us there or in Tunisia/Jordan.

Pandaber, Nicklas is the best

Nicklas is Zayd’s favourite teacher ever! He is always smiling and have super powers, especially those that make one keep up with the high energy level of our crazy kiddos. Zayd and his friends always listen to him all the time and consider him as a true role model. He even managed to teach Anna and Zaydo a Swedish song

On the other hand, Nicklas tries to ‘use’ the kiddos as well. Everytime they say they mysterious word ‘Pandaber’, he tells them ‘we don’t say that anymore, we say Nicklas is the best’ . And guess what? They listen.

Nicklas is now off to a travel adventure around the globe and wish him a safe and really enjoyable time. We will miss him very much, especially Zaydo!

A nice time with family in Jordan and Tunisia

Week 1: The 3 of us in Jordan

We had a lovely time with the family. Zayd had a chance to play with his cousins: Kareem and Basil who taught him a few stunts (e.g. jumpimg down thekhzana) and met with the new addition to the family Princess Nay.

As always, we also caught up with the grandparents, uncles and old friends who really enjoyed having Zayd around.

Week 2: Zayd and I in Tunisia

We had a swim in the beatiful beach of Tunisia and lovely playtime with grandpa Gadour and cousins. Zayd got to go to katkooti God knows how many times . We had the usual great food and Zayd developed an addiction for Colala. We also attended a wedding of my best friend Zied. He and his bride looked stunning and the party was one of the best I have ever attended.

It was a super trip overall, except for our fly back from London. We got back to London Monday morning because we missed a connexion in Paris so Zayd didn’t get to see his dady till the night. He kept on saying ‘I lost my dady!’ and was very sad ( He means ‘I miss my dady!’ if you didn’t get it )

Little Kicker

Today, Zayd his first football class and it was a lot of fun. He loved it!

The class is given by the Little Kickers and I am quite impressed at the way they organized it for this age group. It is really good! Next classes will be outdoors which should be even more fun!

Signy Signets, Disney Land Paris & Montmartre

Nous avons passé le week-end dernier avec nos cousins de Signy Signets. Et c’était vraiment super. Un séjour relaxant et plein de nouvelles découvertes pour le petit Zayd: d’agréables moments avec la famille, une petite marche au village, une après-midi « magique » à Disney land avec Yanis, une visite à la ferme de Mamie pour voir les oies et le tracteur, une excellent bouffe concoctée par Ta Matireze, et une courte visite à Montmartre. :
